Frogs come out after the cleansing and renewing desert summer rain. This frog looks like it just climbed right out of the #8 Turquoise mine in Eureka County, Nevada. Debra Gasper's signature silver inlaid eyes sparkle and shine, one from the center of a bright green turquoise spot. This carving feels smooth and warm in the hand and would be an excellent companion to take with you in a soft leather pouch . It is about 1 1/4" long and 3/8" tall.
Jason Bobelu's all hand-fabricated sterling silver, pink mussel shell mother-of-pearl, turquoise, and jet inlaid Dragonfly pin is about 2" long and has an approximate 2 1/4" wingspan. We love the spiral element and the green turquoise with delicate matrix. Each color and line is a stone, cut to fit perfectly next to its neighbors, amazing! Signed by the artist.

Shannon Waatsa's latest canine bushytail (Coyote, Wolf or Fox) is singing its heart out. With tail curled around and eyes closed tight this petite little creature is carved from a wonderfully colored watermelon serpentine with a mix of greens with rusty red inclusions. The combination of the high smooth polish plus gentle curves gives the piece a superb feel in hand. Measuring about 1 1/4" long by 1" tall and 1/2" wide, this carving begs for a ride in your pocket to your next karaoke session.
Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez

Changing colors with different viewing angles this peaceful night time guardian glows with a rainbow of colors. Kateri has skillfully etched feather details throughout this one-of-a-kind carving. The weighty owl measures about 6 1/2" long, 4 3/4" tall by about 2 1/2" deep. Additional shipping and handling charges may apply.

A Mountain Lion (or cougar) shows its excellent hunting skills, quietly stalking its prey, by Felino Eriacho. Flawlessly carved of Zuni travertine, this cat is a healthy 7 5/8" long and 2 5/8" tall, with watchful eyes of inlaid pen shell. Extra shipping charges may apply.
The Zunis acknowledge six directions, east, west, north, south, above, and below. Each direction has a protective animal and a color assigned to it. Eagle is the protector of above, or sky, and its color is all colors. How appropriate that Burt Awelagte has carved this powerful protector from rainbow fluorite. Sometimes fluorite is reminiscent of blue ice. This stone, however, is more like stained glass. About 2 1/8" tall and 3"long this powerful raptor has far seeing eyes of inlaid turquoise. As this is a heavier carving extra shipping and handling may apply.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary. Please see our resources page for more information on the sanctuary.
Maegan Shetima's enchanting Eagle (or Hawk who is little brother to eagle in the Zuni way) is realistically and gorgeously carved of Picasso marble, about 2 7/8" tall, 1 5/8" long and 2 1/8" deep. This raptor's piercing eyes are of inlaid jet and shell. The fish within this raptor's talons has an eye of inlaid turquoise. Maegan's precise incising marks make for fabulous feather detail.
