Kenric Laiwakete's Rabbit has been carved from angelite. The largest producer of angelite in the world is Peru. The ethereal mineral is said to promote spiritual communication. Turquoise eyes twinkle in anticipation of the delicious clover patch up ahead. Several heartlines or breath paths are from turquoise inlays. About 2 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide and 1 5/8" tall.

Bobcats are busy in the winter because of high metabolisms. Loren Tsalabutie's upright wildcat dances with energy carved from soothing angelite. Beautifully polished, it boogies down at approximately 2 5/8" tall, 2 3/8" wide and 1 3/8" deep. It can be positioned two different ways. Eyes are from turquoise and an offering necklace has tiny red coral and fresh water pearl beads.

Two adorably intersecting Turtles have been carved from one portion of angelite by Cody Chavez. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. An etched carapace is also inlaid with turquoise. Turtles have a rain association in Zuni where their shells are prized for making rattles used by the Rain Dancers. Measurements are approximately 2 1/2" long, 1 3/4" wide and 1 5/8" tall. View item
