Glorious juvenile bald Eagles have fledged their nest and prepare to migrate to a warmer region as colder days approach. Darrell Shebola is a master jeweler carving each stone and shell in this incredible 25" long handmade sterling silver necklace. Set in the challenging stone-to-stone method, each etched piece of mother-of-pearl, jet, gold lip shell and turquoise are set side by side to compose the jet-eyed raptors. The center bird is approximately 2" long and 1 1/2" wide, while the eagle's heads are roughly 7/8" long and 7/8" wide. The elegant feather elements measure about 1 1/4" long. The hand-fabricated silver chain is really lovely too. Signed by the artist.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle necklace will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary. Please see our resources page for more information on the sanctuary.
