Gayla Eriacho's collectible parent Turtle and hatchling are carved from amazing materials indigenous to Zuni Pueblo. She's used one specimen of Zuni travertine for the mother turtle and her baby, while the baby turtle's shell is overlaid with colorful Zuni azurite. They each have cute and bulging eyes of inlaid pen shell. Gayla incised shell details on the underside. About 2 5/8" long, 1 7/8" wide and 1 1/2" tall.

A stunning work of wearable art! The underside of this piece is signed by the artist, Jovanna Poblano, .
