We love Jonas Hustito's porcupines. His latest offering is a turquoise-eyed one from a grey swirled marble with nicely carved out quills, adorable paws and whiskers. A baby porcupine is called a porcupette who is known to talk with tiny squeaks and little chirps. Measurements of this sweet woodland friend are about 2 1/4" long, 7/8" wide and 1 3/8" tall.

Georgette Quam Lunasee and Reynold Lunasee's turquoise-eyed Mountain-lion (cougar, puma or panther) is an architect of balance, that is one who healthily shapes Mother Earth's ecosystems as an apex predator. The dolomite resembles the furry coat of the wild feline that blends seamlessly with various environments. About 2 7/8" long, 5/8" wide and 3/4" tall.

Danette Laate
The Mole's subterranean fortress features specialized chambers that can extend for hundreds of feet. These hidden underground highways are used to journey safely here and there. Danette Laate's young fluorite beneath the ground creature has turquoise eyes and a Zuni Sunface symbol from jet, coral and turquoise. The Sunface symbol represents harmony and balance of the elements. Approximately 2 1/2" long, 1 1/8" wide and 5/8" tall.

Cheryl Beyuka's hearty Bear from fish rock serpentine travels with an iridescent gold lip shell Dragonfly friend in tow to help navigate the journey ahead. The water insect is adorned with lovely apple coral, turquoise and pen shell inlays. The jet-eyed bruin's offering bundle from lapis lazuli, tourmaline, apple coral and mother-of-pearl helps secure the insect companion. Dimensions in their entirety are about 3 1/2" long, 2" wide and 2 5/8" tall.

Spring cleaning our homes includes our yards too. We can remember sweet wild cottontail Rabbits who are in nesting season. Their hidden ground-level nests can be easily disrupted when we do yard work like removing brush piles, mowing and tilling, so it is best to check beforehand. Benina Kallestewa's nicely-polished onyx bunny has tiny eyes from cultured opal inlays, etched whiskers and a sports a tiny offering necklace with red coral, turquoise and white shell beads. About 1 3/4" long, 5/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall.

Soaring at a high elevation, Bryston Bowannie's black marble Raven (or crow) enjoys expansive views of Zuni country through turquoise inlaid eyes. Lustrous ravens are admired not only for their beauty but the ability thrive and problem-solve, that's how smart they are. Approximately 2 3/8" long, 2 3/4" wide and 5/8" tall.

Zuni Ojo Rock is an argillaceous mineral found on the Zuni Reservation near Ojo Caliente. Gininka Dickson and Cameron Kalestewa have fashioned a spunky Bobcat from this gorgeous local stone. A heartline or breath path is from crushed lapis lazuli and a resilient spirit is felt in the eyes from crushed turquoise. We love the nose and mouth feature too, also from crushed lapis. An iridescent gold lip mother-of-pearl shell point with hematite, lapis and sodalite beads is secured in the offering bundle of gratitude for beneficial wildcats. About 3" long, 1 3/8" wide and 1 1/2" tall.

An eagle's superior vision spots prey from miles away. Their animal medicine or natural traits is that of filtering distractions in our view and to focus on goals with strategic planning. Herbert Halate's lightly-fragrant cedar Eagle (or Hawk) has a wonderful hooked beak and sharp vision from turquoise inlaid eyes. Herbert is a Zuni elder who has been carving since 1972. His father Leonard Halate taught him the art. He delicately texturized the surface which compliments the wood's lovely grain. About 4 3/8" long, 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" tall.

Make a sophisticated fashion statement wearing Zuni jeweler Dillon Cheama's sterling silver and rich Kingman turquoise link bracelet. He shared that he's focused on building a signature style that includes distinctive chains with special details. The precious colorful stones are held by handmade bezels bordered by a lovely rope accent in each of the stations joined by gorgeous links. We love the final distinctive stone located near the clasp closure because of its unique green hue and natural matrix. About 8 1/4" long including the lobster clasp closure, 3/4" wide and 1/8" deep. Signed by the artist.
