A cougar or Mountain Lion curiously stands on its hind legs to see what interesting sights might be about and to sniff the air. Dee Edaakie carved this whimsical cat from a hefty chunk of Boulder opal letting the fiery opal light up the paws. He inlaid pretty blue lapis eyes and attached an offering necklace of turquoise, amber, and mother of pearl beads. About 2 5/8" tall, 1 1/2" wide, and 2 1/4" deep.
