Joshua Qualo
is backordered. We will ship it separately when it becomes available.
Turtles have a rain association in Zuni where their shells are prized for making rattles used by the Rain Dancers. Joshua Qualo's stunning turtle painting honors this traditional worldview in an 8" by 10" original colorful acrylic on canvas board composition. The lovely reptile feels like its swimming with ease while thunderous rain cloud elements replenish water stores. Signed by the artist.
Alexander Chavez
Alexander Chavez's onyx winged wonder has turquoise, red coral and jet inlays plus adorable sterling silver antennae. Facial features are from turquoise and jet. Butterflies teach us that transformation or an internal shift brings us in alignment with our highest potential. About 2 5/8" tall, 3/4" wide and roughly 1 3/4" deep. A bit tippy, not suitable for an unstable shelf.
Benina Kallestewa
Perfect camouflaging allows mighty tigers to get within striking distance of their prey. The unique patterning of their fur blends well with the dappled sunlight and dancing shadows of their environments. Benina Kallestewa's cultured opal-eyed tiger has been carved from a nuggety portion of onyx to a dimension of roughly 2 1/2" long, 1 1/8" wide and 2" tall.
Vince Chavez
Vince Chavez's powerful Badger emerges from a root-filled den to hunt among the fertile grasslands. Badgers maintain and invigorate soil health through foraging and den building. Seeds are spread through their dung. Dens provide refuge for other wildlife too, even ground owls. Smoothly sculpted from indigenous Zuni travertine, while classic fur striping is etched and skillfully filled with colorful azurite paste, this turquoise-eyed friend is about 5 1/4" long, 3 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall. We love its raised foot.
