Sheldon & Nancy Westika
Sheldon and Nancy Westika's unforgettable triple strand fetish necklace hosts Bear, bird and bushytail (Coyote, Fox or Wolf) friends, all hand-carved of delicious materials like Picasso marble, turquoise, shell, serpentine, gold lip shell, both red and orange spiny oyster shell, sodalite, leopard marble, antler, magnesite and black lip shell. They all have drilled eyes that are darkened with jet paste, and are strung with fine heishe shell beads. Overall necklace length is about 26" long, while animal's average in length from about 1/2" to 1 3/8".

Salvador Romero, Cochiti
Eddington Hannaweeka's incredible single-strand fetish necklace showcases a colorful and gorgeous array of animals, plus a wonderful Zuni Pueblo man of turquoise taking center stage on this approximate 27" long necklace. His face is a happy one, he measures about 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. These fetishes are strung with fine heishe shell beads.
We see animals like Bear, fish, Frog, Turtle, in addition to a variety of feathered friends such as Eagle and Hummingbird. They're carved of great materials like turquoise, apple coral, gold lip shell, tijilite, mother-of-pearl, malachite, Picasso marble, magnesite, dolomite, serpentine and amber. The animals vary in size from about 3/4" long to 1 1/2" long, and their eyes are inlaid with either jet or turquoise.

Fabian Homer brings us a beautiful Eagle carved from a colorful Pacific green snail shell. As you turn the piece a Bear emerges, with big eyes of inlaid mother of pearl shell and jet. Fabian used the natural contours of the shell for the nose of the bear and the head of the eagle. The piece measures about 2 1/4" wide by 2" tall and 2" deep.
Veronica Poblano is from the greater Teddy Weahkee family of carvers. Her father was noted and iconic Zuni carver Leo Poblano, nephew of Teddy Weahkee.
Her latest offering is this absolutely fabulous and affectionally named "Mama Bear" carved of the prettiest piece of carnelian, about 2 1/4" long, 1" wide and 1 3/8" tall, with eyes of turquoise. This exquisite bear's offering bundle consists of Kingman turquoise, citrine, fresh water pearl and pink coral beads. Evalena and Lena Boone's collaborative single strand turquoise and heishe shell fetish necklace and earrings set is stunning. In the center is an Hummingbird about 1 1/2" long, while the rest of the animals average about 1/2" to 1" long. The earrings hang at about 2" long. The overall necklace's length is about 27 1/2".

Marlon Lowsayatee's glorious "Wildlife Scene" is intricately carved of bone permanently resting a top a base of antler. This amazing collage of animals includes a Bear, a bear cub with a fish in its mouth, a Mountain-lion, Deer, Elk, doe and an Eagle. Each animal has eyes of inlaid turquoise and the bear's mouth is open to show its teeth and a coral tongue. This fabulous sculpture will be a joy to look at from any angle. Carlton Jamon's lovely, all hand-fabricated sterling silver and jet Bear pendant necklace is about 27 1/2" in total length, while the center bear pendant is about 1 3/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Denise Eustace, Cochiti-Zuni
A highly-collectible and museum-quality collection of animals, making up Ray Tsalate's set representing the Six Directions that Zuni Pueblo people recognize. They assign an animal and a color to each.
Ray's inspiration came from old traditional pottery designs, bringing an "old-style" feeling to each animal. They are masterfully carved of antler. Wolf is 2 1/2" long, 1" wide and 1 1/4" tall, with mother-of-pearl inlay and pen shell eyes. Mountain Lion is 2 1/2" long, 7/8" wide and 1 1/8" tall, with gold lip shell inlay and malachite eyes. Eagle measures 2" long, 1" wide and 1" tall, with lapis, malachite, mother-of-pearl and gold lip shell inlay, plus red coral eyes. Badger is 1 5/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" tall, with coral inlay and jet eyes. Mole is 1 3/8" long, 1 1/8" wide and 1" tall, with pen shell inlay and variscite eyes. A collectible and reversible mother-of-pearl Mountain-lion pendant fetish necklace, about 26" in length, is strung with a double strand of lovely heishe shell and other colorful beads, by Andres Quandelacy. The center mountain lion has an inlaid turquoise heartline on either side, plus eyes of inlaid turquoise, and measures about 1 5/8" long and 1 3/8" tall. Joining this feline are friends such as Bear, bushytails (Wolf, Coyote or Fox), Bison, mountain sheep or ram, Mole, and Elk or Deer. They are carved from green turquoise, lapis, mother-of-pearl, magnesite, jet, malachite and spiny oyster shell. They have inlaid eyes of turquoise and the bison have little horns of turquoise. Charles Martinez, Jr.
This necklace is a show stopper! Charles Martinez, Jr. carved a beautiful Bear from the spiral of a melon shell, a very large type of sea snail. On the shell he overlaid an alternating heartline of red coral. A wonderful Dragonfly friend is incised on the bear. This bear pendant is about 2 1/2" from nose to tail and 1 1/4" long, with a red coral eye. Above the bear are several other carvings, all of them carry their own unique personality. Highest on the necklace are two Beavers, one is carved of luscious mother of pearl shell, the other of Picasso marble. There are two Eagles, again one is mother of pearl shell but the other is a rich green serpentine. There is a Frog of Picasso marble and a Badger of red coral. Just above the bear pendant are two graceful birds of mother of pearl shell. Each animal has inlaid eyes of black jet or bright turquoise and range in size from 3/4" to 1 1/2" long. With a secure threaded clasp this necklace is 23" long. Signed by the artist.
Troy Sice's "Ballerina Bear" is carved of antler wearing a pink tulle tutu and strikes an "en point" pose on a base of marble. About 5 1/8" tall, including base, and 4" wide, including tutu. This adorable ballerina Bear has jet inlaid eyes and claws, and has burnt out nose, tail and ear details.
