Jimmy Yawakia is a self-taught carver. He once wrote "While in my work room, a stone will be selected by color, texture and shape. The Creation starts by holding and turning the stone within the warm hands, until the animal is seen." We love what he's brought about through a good-looking onyx stone: a turquoise-eyed Eagle (or Hawk) that's about 2 1/2" long, 3/4" wide and 1" tall.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary. Please see our resources page for more information on the sanctuary.
