A wonderful eye catching ring from Zuni Pueblo artist Adrin Cheama. The all hand-fabricated, sterling silver ring, is inlaid with a diagonal line of alternating jet and mother-of-pearl shell sections and is flanked by icy blue turquoise. The large scale ring is sized at 12 3/4. The inlaid center piece measures about 1 1/2" from top to bottom by 3/4" wide. The center station sits on a comfortably rounded spilt shank and is signed by the artist.
Adrin Cheama's parents are carvers Fabian and Vivella Cheama who descend from the greater Natewa, Dallas Quam (d) and Panteah family of Zuni artists. Adrin's father Fabian was a leader behind a realistic and contemporary style of fetish carving in the early 1980's.

This significant sterling silver cobble style inlay cuff bracelet is a masterpiece by Lloyd Tsalabutie, father of the late great carver Jeffery Tsalabutie (d).
