Noreen Simplicio's inspiring hand-formed and hand-painted, with natural clay and mineral paints, traditional Deer in his house motif pottery is accompanied by a busy pueblo village scene. We see corn grinders, potters, drummers, bakers with mud ovens called 'hornos', mothers and others busy at work and play. Tiny ladders, wood beams and doors decorate their village.
Noreen is an award-winning and noted Zuni Pueblo potter. Don't miss this fabulous piece that will be an important addition to any pottery collection. About 8 1/4" tall, 5" diameter and 3 1/2" across the top. Signed by the artist. Extra shipping charges may apply.
Todd Lowsayatee's shed antler Deer mount is a glorious presentation of many Eagles in flight and tablita Corn-maidens.
Each raptor is intricately detailed to show off plumage, precise beaks and a wonderful sense of movement. Perceptive eyes of inlaid turquoise are added. The tablita corn maidens offer strength and feminine energy. Their corn bodies are well-incised, and inlaid with colorful turquoise and alunite accents. Jet inlaid facial features bring them to life.
About 8" long, 14" wide and 12" deep. Signed by the artist. A stained wood plaque and soft sueded buckskin secure the antler rack in a gorgeous way. A hook is attached for wall display. Extra shipping charges may apply.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary. Please see our resources page for more information on the sanctuary.
