Evalena Boone descends from the late mid-century master carver Teddy Weahkee of Zuni Pueblo. Her mother is Lena Boone and her grandmother was Edna Leki. Lena’s wonderful family and Keshi go way back. In fact, Rignie who is Lena’s husband would often visit Robin's Zuni classroom after school because his daughter Evalena and his son Leland were in her class during the 80’s. Owl fetish necklace, one you must own. The charming raptors are sculpted from either happy turquoise or colorful spiny oyster shell and have wise eyes from either turquoise or red coral. The center bird is about 1 1/2” long, while the accompanying feathered friends are approximately 1” long. The collectible necklace is roughly 27” long composed from rich jet and iridescent gold lip shell beads. Signed by the artist.
