Freddie Leekya's grandfather was Leekya Deyuse (d), probably the most famous and iconic fetish carver who was born in 1889. This wonderful family's carving legacy continues with Freddie. Sweetly made from Picasso marble is a bright pig. In nature, a pig's snout can move independently from its head as suggested in the way Freddie carved a slightly-turned up nose overlaid with turquoise. Also, turquoise inlaid eyes give this pig a great sense of direction, pen shell hooves are set and a cute squiggly tail is the cherry on top, so to speak. About 2 1/2" long, 1 1/4" wide and 2" tall.
