This bright eyed Badger is ready to spring into action. Alexander Chavez carved this little pocket badger from a light brown and grey Picasso marble. Inlaid eyes of turquoise and small accent dots of turquoise are bright and joyful against the stone body. This determined little creature is about 1 3/4" long, 1" wide by 5/8" tall.
Colder months will soon visit the deserts where roadrunners live. They'll consume lots of small reptiles, invertebrates and rodents in preparation for the change of season. Because they don't fly very well, non-migratory roadrunners seem to disappear during the winter but are likely sheltering in rock formations and shrubs.
We're excited to share Travis Lasiloo's highly-detailed masterpiece, a glorious roadrunner a top an arrow point. Sculpted from one portion of rich Picasso marble, intricate plumage shows tiny individually carved feathers. Sandy brown, earth yellow and muted orange hues within the Picasso marble resemble the arid regions where roadrunners live. Equipped with long legs, strong claws, a beautiful crest and jet in turquoise eyes, this lovely beaked bird is about 4" long, 1 1/8" wide and 2 1/4" tall.

Zuni tradition teaches there are Six-Directions in life assigning a color and animal to each one. Long ago, the Father of Medicine Societies, Po-shai-an-kia, established predatory animals as guardians of the Six Directions, each associated with a different color. They are regarded as healing and protective.
We're honored to present a fabulous collection of animals making up Andres Quandelacy's set representing these sacred regions. White Wolf is carved from mother-of-pearl. Dolomite Mountain Lion is 2 1/4" long. Eagle is from Picasso marble. Badger is from spiny oyster shell. Jet Mole is 7/8" wide. Turquoise Bear is about 1 1/2" tall. Eyes are inlaid from either turquoise or red coral. A collectible grouping to cherish.

This marvelous Mountain-lion of Picasso marble by Clive Hustito, would be a grand reminder for anyone trying to set new boundaries, as a mountain lion lives this way all the time.
This chunk of Picasso marble is very pretty, and its size would command any shelf, mantel or desk upon which it sits. This feline's face is amazing, as it watches its territory through turquoise inlaid eyes and has incised whiskers.
Clive attached a generous shell point with red coral and turquoise beads on this great cat that's about 11" long, 5" tall and 4" wide. Extra shipping charges may apply.
