Magnificent sperm whales are Mother Earth's largest predator. They'll dive thousands of feet in pursuit of deep sea giant squid, a favorite meal. Putting up a fierce fight, giant squid use spiky suckers, barbed tentacles and beaks to cut and escape from the whales. Adult whales can have scarring on their heads and bodies as a result. Eli Cheama's stunning whale means business sculpted from fish rock serpentine and inlaid with jet eyes. A harpoon, in the place of an arrow point offering, is carved from serpentine.
