Twin Bear cubs hold an offering bowl between them. The bowl seems to hold the cosmos. A raincloud, a sunface representing the balance between sky and earth, a spiral element, and the big dipper are etched along the outside and filled with colorful pigments. Between each bear and the offering bowl Rickson has included a blue corn kernel. Carved of white alabaster with gray veins each bear has inlaid eyes, nose, mouth and claws of jet paste. One of the bears has an offering of a jet hunting point attached to its back while its sibling has a point carved from colorful mother of pearl. About 3 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide, and 1 3/4" tall, a very special carving not to be missed.
