Ringtail mammals are cat-sized creatures and expert climbers with long raccoon-like tails. In fact, they are closely related to raccoons and are the state mammal of Arizona. In the old days, they were called the "miner's cat" kept in mining camps and in cabins to help control rodent populations. Justin Red Elk's delightful ringtail has been created from pipestone and jet. A searching gaze is from jet inlays. Approximately 3 1/4" long 5/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
