Rainbow fluorite's name is derived from the Latin word fluere meaning to flow. And that it certainly does as color-zoned bands stream with continuous energy. Because rainbow fluorite combines multiple natural colors, it is believed to cleanse energy centers in the body. Stewart Quandelacy's turquoise-eyed Medicine-Bear is sculpted from a minty fresh rainbow fluorite specimen to a size of roughly 3 1/4" long, 1/2" wide and 2 3/8" tall. A striking red coral alternating heartline or breath path is inlaid.
