Snails and slugs are shelled gastropods belonging to an enormous family of animals called molluscs or mollusks. They are one of the slowest creatures around. The old adage "slowly but surely" definitely applies to these fascinating beings who move at an unbothered pace. Maxx Laate's fabulous tentacled snail family has been masterfully carved from one antler specimen with smooth swirling shells. We love how some of them are going in a different direction. They happily glide at about 5 1/2" long, 1" wide and 7/8" tall.
