Lovingly arranged layers of carved jet, turquoise and perhaps spiny oyster shell or melon shell are the components of Andrew Quam's cheerful
Turtle. Crushed coral inlaid claws in addition to coral eyes are given. An incised carapace is decorated with attractive turquoise and red coral inlays. A great reptile that hints at setting a realistic pace in life. About 1 3/8" long, 1 1/8" wide and 5/8" tall.
