Lewis Malie is a wonderful carver of
Eagles. Masterfully hewn from one portion of antler is a soar of eagles locking talons which usually occurs during territorial disputes or courtship season. The word soar is a collective term describing a group of eagles suggesting their skillful flight and journey through the skies. Usually eagles don't spend a lot of time in the company of others outside of their immediate families. Lewis' breathtaking carving is approximately 4 7/8" tall, 2 7/8" wide and 1 1/2" deep. Plumage is beautifully rendered and farseeing eyes are etched.
