Corn Maiden's soul-nourishing Corn kernels and a Maiden Grandmother's lived wisdom are represented in a double-sided turquoise carving by Sandra Quandelacy. Maiden Grandmother wears a shawl and hair is in traditional whorls signifying she hasn't had children but has been a mother figure along the way. Reassuring facial features are incised and filled with jet paste, while lovely red coral and turquoise cabochons decorate them. About 1 5/8" tall, 1/2" wide and 1/2" deep.
