We're always thrilled to offer any of Veronica Poblano's elegant jewelry creations because her artistic lineage is amazing. Her father was iconic Zuni carver Leo Poblano (d), the nephew of Teddy Weahkee (d). Their enormous contribution to Zuni fetish carving and jewelry continues with Veronica, her son Dylan Poblano and daughter Jovanna Poblano.
Veronica's all hand-fabricated 18K gold, golden-matrix rich turquoise, extraordinary red and pink coral cabochons, Hawikuh Rainbird earrings dazzle in their contemporary presentation. The Zuni Rainbird is known as "The Bringer Of Life" representing prayers for life-giving rain and snow. Hawikuh is an archeological site at Zuni. For pierced ears, the shorter earring measures approximately 2 3/4" long and 5/8" wide. The longer one is about 3 1/4" long and 5/8" wide. Signed by the artist.
Nine luxurious stations feature either old Morenci turquoise, large and rare specimens of natural red coral or precious Kingman turquoise, in this truly impressive sterling silver necklace by award-winning artist Veronica Poblano. Each custom cut stone and coral harmonizes in captivating shape and exciting alternating color. Some of the turquoise pieces have gorgeous pyrite inclusions. Morenci turquoise is particularly precious because it's no longer mined. Branch coral this large is hard to come by. Just to run your fingers over this highest-quality necklace is an incredible experience, imagine wearing it. The all hand-fabricated chain is amazing too.
Very comfortable to wear, Veronica's masterpiece measures approximately 20 3/4" long to toggle closure loop, plus an additional 3" trailing end that dangles beautifully below the toggle closure. The stones average in size from about 5/8" long by 1/2" wide, to 1" long and 3/4" wide. In a class all by itself, this memorable work of wearable art is signed by the artist.

Permanently perched on a gorgeously carved black lip shell leaf, with crushed turquoise and a few bits of red coral, is this amazing feathered friend of stichtite. Veronica inlaid its lovely wings with turquoise and lapis. Friendly turquoise eyes take in the view, while a flat crest of feathers on its head is overlaid pen shell. About 2 1/4" long, 1" wide and 1 1/8" tall.
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral of the 'plagioclase' group, often characterized by a brilliant change of colors, with blue and green most commonly seen. Veronica's charming labradorite Badger is loaded with these brilliant colors from all angles, appearing to glow from within. Adding to the colorful piece is an offering bundle that contains lapis, red coral, turquoise beads on top of an iridescent abalone shell arrow point. Veronica's sterling silver signature label is attached to the back hip of the luminous and determined badger. The gem quality labradorite badger measures about 3" long, 1 1/2" wide by 1" tall with turquoise inlaid eyes.

Masterfully carved from rare and old Morenci turquoise on a crushed red coral and amazing Kingman turquoise base, Veronica's beloved father Leo stands strong in his traditional clothing or blanket, that's inlaid with fabulous sections of red coral, pen shell and white shell. Other accents include red coral and turquoise cabochons that are inlaid with sterling silver, acting as his jewelry. His friendly eyes are of inlaid pen shell and shell, while his finely incised hair is secured with beautiful sections of natural branch red coral, serving as a head bandana. His moccasins are of rich pipestone and white shell.
On the back of his blanket, Veronica's inlaid a lovely limpet shell from Haida Gwaii, an archipelago off British Columbia’s west coast, in Canada. A turquoise stone rests within this treasured shell.

Either incised wing is set with a sterling silver and red coral or turquoise cabochon. Lapis and turquoise stones are inlaid along the back of this fine bird that has turquoise eyes. A Mountain Lion carved in the old-style by Veronica Poblano. This feline does not have its tail running across its back, it is smoothly and delicately sculpted to match the stone. Carved from colorful labradorite, its eyes are inlaid with beautiful turquoise cabochons. This feline carries an offering bundle with a turquoise point that is bound by shell heishi, turquoise and red coral beads. It is about 2 5/8" long and 1 1/8" tall.
