The ancient Steppe belt of Eurasia kept vast
Deer and
Elk herds who roamed immense grasslands and inspired nomadic warrior cultures in all doings. Perhaps touched by the artwork of these early tribes, Todd Lowsayatee carved an original stag, powerful with elaborated antlers, Scythian style. Turquoise and red coral inlays surround this approximate 2 1/2" tall, 2" wide and 1 1/8" deep turquoise-eyed male deer. The organic porous areas of the antler create depth and textural wonder. A small circular variation on the antler maybe a naturally formed mineral deposit.
