Mary C. Lovato, Kewa (Santo Domingo)
Incomparable and very collectible is this Dragonfly mosaic pendant, all amazingly handmade by award-winning artist and Kewa Pueblo elder Mary C. Lovato. Overlaid on a bed of shell, are many glorious pieces of jet, with vibrant lapis, serpentine and green turquoise. A watery dragonfly is of red coral, spiny oyster shell and turquoise, set with a border of sterling silver. About 2 1/4" long and 2 3/8" wide. Signed by the artist along with her Corn motif.
The silver hammered collar is available and sold separately here. The brown leather cord is not included.
Clive Hustito's commanding Six Directional Mountain-lion is carved from a varied and stunning onyx. An extraordinary and larger-sized energizing work that represents the Six-Directions recognized by the Zuni Pueblo people. This feline's offering bundle is secured with a gorgeous red obsidian point with the remaining directional animals. We see a marble Wolf, a jet Mole, a Picasso marble Eagle, a turquoise Bear and a coral Badger. The animal's expressive eyes are from either inlaid turquoise or pen shell. Clive presented this whiskered feline with its long tail up and to one side, in old-style presentation. All together, Clive's meaningful carving measures about 9" long, 2" wide and 5" tall. Extra shipping charges may apply.
Bobby & Corraine Shack
Bobby and Corraine Shack's sterling silver, turquoise, red coral, jet, pen shell, gold lip shell and mother-of-pearl cuff bracelet is all hand fabricated, showing off a magical inlaid Phoenix bird. The inlaid jet dots on the top area of the wings indicate it's a Phoenix bird, according to the Shack's. We love this stylized, mythical bird surrounded by a handsome border. This cuff bracelet's entire inner circumference is about 6 1/2" including the opening of 1 1/2", and comes with the couple's sterling silver signature label attached to the inside of the bracelet. The inlaid Phoenix station is about 1 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" wide. Click here for help in determining wrist measurements and best fit.

This significant sterling silver cobble style inlay cuff bracelet is a masterpiece by Lloyd Tsalabutie, father of the late great carver Jeffery Tsalabutie (d). Carving only occasionally, Lloyd is more well-known as a jeweler. He is one of a few Zuni jewelers doing this gorgeous style of meticulous stone work.
Using all natural stones, Lloyd has formed six Zuni Sunface designs, inlaid stone to stone in various combinations of either turquoise, red coral, sugilite, opal, lapis and jet. The Zuni Sunface symbol represents the elements in balance.
This cuff bracelet is about is 3/4" wide. The entire inner circumference is about 5 1/2" including opening of 1 1/8". Lloyd's signature is to incise a depiction of sacred 'Dowa Yalanne' or Corn Mountain located in Zuni, on the underside of his works, as seen on this magnificent work.
