Corn ready for all the traditional doings, Claudia Peina's lovely burnished antler Corn Grinding Maiden is joyful in her important responsibilities. Hair is incised in whorls accented with turquoise, eyes are from inlaid jet and a red coral inlay represents a voice of wisdom. A turquoise disc necklace is set and strong hands are seen on the corn pieces, which are indicated by the little drilled indentations. About 2 1/2" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1" deep.
