Beverly Etsate is well-known for her corn and Katsina jewelry. She instructed both daughter Tracey Bowekaty and son Kane Etsate in the traditional jewelry art forms. Beverly's mother jeweler Rosalie Pinto taught her in the early 1970's.
Beverly's latest offering is a carved mother-of-pearl corn cuff bracelet is a lovely one handmade from sterling silver. Colorful lapis lazuli, red coral, malachite and turquoise inlays adorn the kernels. Silver leaf blades and balls add finishing touches. The feminine cuff bracelet's entire inner circumference is about 6 1/4" including the opening of approximately 1". The corn station is about 1" long, 5/8" wide and 1/4" tall. Signed by the artist.
