The #8 Mine in Eureka County, Nevada yielded turquoise in rare blue and green colors with stunning matrix formations that are coveted today. Brian Yatsattie's jet-eyed Snakelet is sculpted from a gorgeous #8 Mine specimen to a coiled dimension of approximately 1 1/4" long, 7/8" wide and 7/8" tall. Perhaps this little reptile can inspire you to cast off outgrown phases of life to start over and be refreshed the way beneficial snakes do in nature by shedding old skin.

Give our snake friends the space they need. Their primal qualities are certainly potent as is our primal fear of them but don't let that stop you from hearing Snake's message. Their animal medicine suggests we discard our old ways and patterns of thinking as these wonderful reptile's shed their skin regularly to renew. Perhaps Fitz and Marlo Kiyite's snake can inspire a path of self-improvement. Carved with personality from ricolite, measurements of this turquoise-eyed creature are about 2" long, 1 1/4" wide and 3/8" tall.

Brian Yatsattie's stunning reptile has been carved from attractive stichtite, a lovely mineral first identified in 1910 on the west coast of Australia. Found all over the world, it is thought to bring an inner peace and restoration to those who possess it. Perceptive eyes are from jet inlays and a rattle is attractively sculpted. Important snakes control rodent populations which help reduce crop damage. We can help snake friends by giving them the space they need. Dimensions of this lively-spirited Snake are about 2 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" tall.
