Abby and Clayton Panteah's
Bear is as round as the bright Harvest Moon also known as the
Corn Moon by Indigenous Peoples. This ultra-illuminated moon provides enough light that even in the old days, farmers could take advantage of it to harvest their crops late into the night and early morning hours. The full Harvest Moon shined in the early morning hours of September 29th, also marking the fourth and final super-moon of 2023. Carved from lovely Petoskey stone and inlaid with turquoise eyes and a heartline or breath path, this
Medicine-bear measures about 2 1/8" long, 3/4" wide and 2 1/8" tall.
