By Justin Red Elk, Zuni-Sioux

This offering is sold.

Justin Red Elk is from the late Leonard Halate family of noted Zuni artists. His mother is carver Pansy Natachu. Justin's uncle and aunts are carvers Herbert Halate, Reva Halate and Marvelita Phillips, among many other wonderful artists from this lineage. We adore Justin's momma Rabbit and her baby, carved from either pipestone or alabaster. Watchful eyes are from pen shell inlays. Together, they measure about 3" long, 1 3/8" wide and 1 1/4" tall.

When you shop keshi.com you're supporting an Indigenous artist like Justin who sets his own wholesale prices in keeping with our mission of promoting equitable treatment of artists.
