Honored master pueblo potter Les Namingha has brought together traditional and contemporary techniques, such as hand-building with Hopi clay and the use of gorgeous acrylic paints to create this collectible "Shalako" pottery jar. Circa 2015, this masterwork features four Shalako. An important religious katsina ceremony takes place once a year at Zuni Pueblo in which Shalako makes an appearance. A beloved messenger from the Rain Gods, Shalako stands ten feet tall.

Don't miss this rare showpiece by Les Namingha, an award-winning creative genius. It's currently featured in an August 2020 advertisement for Keshi, in the "Pasatiempo, Santa Fe New Mexican" publication.
