Reversible Turquoise Pendant With Grandmother & Corn Maiden

Sandra Quandelacy's reversible corn-maiden and grandmother pendant celebrates life's transitions. Carved from gorgeous turquoise, we see the young maiden, her fertile corn body nicely incised, her eyes are incised and darkened with jet paste, she wears a coral ornament at her neck. On the reversed side we see the wise elder in her traditional shawl and sash, Dragonflies swirl around her carrying messages from the ancestors who have gone on before her, a beautiful gift of coral sits at her throat. These ladies are about 2 1/4" long including the bale, 5/8" wide, and 1/2" deep. The silver snake chain is available and sold separately here.
