Peter Sohappy's "Hohokam" engraved found stone decoration represents a great Hohokam man and a feathered companion. The Hohokam were some of the most skilled irrigation farmers the Southwest has ever known. The Akimel O'odham (Pima) and Tohono O'odham (Papago) Indigenous Peoples of Arizona are direct descendants of the Hohokam. Peter inscribed the reverse side of this roughly 7 5/8" long, 5/8" wide and 4 5/8" tall piece with inspired mystery words.
