Quality lizard habitat is a must if we're to help our reptilian friends survive. Harvester red ants are a favorite and necessary food source for horned lizards. We can help out by growing and maintaining native plants, grasses and forbs which Harvester ants feed on and by not damaging Harvester red ant mounds. Danette Laate's angelite horned Lizard has turquoise eyes and a Zuni Sunface symbol created from turquoise, jet and red coral. The Sunface represents the elements in balance.
