Eddington Hannaweeka's incredible single-strand fetish necklace showcases a colorful and gorgeous array of animals, plus a wonderful Zuni Pueblo man of turquoise taking center stage on this approximate 27" long necklace. His face is a happy one, he measures about 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. These fetishes are strung with fine heishe shell beads.
We see animals like Bear, fish, Frog, Turtle, in addition to a variety of feathered friends such as Eagle and Hummingbird. They're carved of great materials like turquoise, apple coral, gold lip shell, tijilite, mother-of-pearl, malachite, Picasso marble, magnesite, dolomite, serpentine and amber. The animals vary in size from about 3/4" long to 1 1/2" long, and their eyes are inlaid with either jet or turquoise.
This matchless fetish necklace will be a treasured collectible for years to come. Eddington's sterling silver signature label is attached.
Talia Quandelacy's mother is iconic Zuni artist Faye Quandelacy. Talia's malachite Grandmother (or olla maiden) brings wisdom and serenity. Permanently siting a top a base of marble, she holds a stained cottonwood bowl filled with carved spiny oyster, lapis and turquoise Corn. Resting nearby is an 'olla' jar carved of citrine. About 5" long, 3 3/8" wide and 3 5/8" tall. Don't miss this collectible work. Extra shipping charges may apply.
