Self-taught jeweler Franklin Carrillo utilizes a variety of techniques to achieve incredible designs in his labor intensive pieces that burst with color and are rooted in the enduring patterns of Pueblo culture. His goal is to create wearable art as showcased in a one of kind sterling silver zigzag link bracelet. Each station is masterfully inlaid with delicious materials like sky blue turquoise, cheerful spiny oyster shell, rare sugilite, bright red coral, rich fossilized ivory, lively lapis lazuli, captivating gold slag, happy Mojave green turquoise, bold jet, good-looking marble, Pacific green snail shell, iridescent mother-of-pearl, verdant malachite and shimmering labradorite. The hand-made hinges and reticulated silver box clasp are beautifully worked too. About 7 5/8" long including the lovely clasp, 3/4" wide and 1/8" deep. Signed by the artist.
