Much love, patience and skill is required to make beautiful beads by hand. It starts with selecting suitable materials, shaping, drilling, grinding and then fine polishing them. Maegan Shetima's stunning and reversible Bison pendant necklace showcases all the work that goes into creating handmade beads like these iridescent mother-of-pearl, marble, turquoise and coral ones. They're visually striking and cohesive, complimented by a sterling silver lobster clasp closure. The black marble beads are handsomely shaped like arrowheads. The roaming bison, that itself measures about 5/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 3/8" deep, is carved from gold lip mother-of-pearl shell. Spirited eyes are from jet inlays. Maegan sculpted the bale directly from the shell. The stunning beads vary in size from 1/8" to 1/2" long, 1/8" to 1/4" wide and 1/8" deep.
