Joshua Leki was raised by the late great artist Lena Boone, who always embraced extended family even adopting a nephew and niece. The Boone family taught Joshua to carve but until recently, didn't know he had amazing painting talents as well. His artistic heritage goes back his late great, great grandfather Teddy Weahkee, who was also multi-talented, a beautiful connection. We're honored to share a stunning depiction of Knifewing, a sacred being who sweeps down from Father Sky, protects the A:Shiwi (Zuni) and carries off beautiful Maidens. The original collectible artwork is highly detailed with gorgeous earth-toned acrylic paints on a gallery-wrapped canvas with painted edges, stretched over a wooden internal frame. About 14" long, 11" wide and 1/2" deep. Signed by the artist.
