A glamorous sterling silver ring by Amy Wesley features a design called the "Double Hummingbird". In this ring Amy has used beautifully rich and vibrant lapis stones to form the abstract swirling design originated by Dickie and Ellen Quandelacy. This ring is sized 6 3/4, while the double hummingbird oval station is about 1" long and 3/4" wide. It's signed by the artist and it's all hand-fabricated.
Lapis lazuli has been a treasured semi-precious opaque gemstone throughout mankind's history. The ancient cultures of Egypt, China, Rome and Greece, among others, have used this colorful material in all sorts of ways. Archeologists have found objects such as furniture, jewelry and makeup that incorporate lapis. Artists of old have also used it in a ground down form, as vibrant paint.
Larry Loretto's all handmade sterling silver and lapis lazuli inlaid cuff bracelet is glorious. The glistening golden pyrite flecks remind us of a starry night's sky in Zuni land. The quality of this cuff bracelet is wonderful. Bracelet's entire inner circumference is about 7" including the opening of about 1 1/2". It has a width of approximately 3/8". Signed by the artist.

Sandra Quandelacy's reversible corn and maidens pendant necklace showcases colorful and out-of-sight materials like green turquoise, orange spiny oyster shell, lapis, marble, pipestone, fossilized ivory, phosphosiderite and jet all carved and incised into individual corn cobs that average about 1 3/8" long. They are neatly strung with turquoise, red coral, white shell and heishe shell beads on a single strand that's about 25" long.
Taking center stage on this fabulous necklace is a reversible gold lip shell corn maiden on one side, while the other side is a Grandmother, about 3" long and 1" wide. We love how Sandra's handled the traditional clothing Grandmother is wearing, the pleat details are wonderful. Both maidens are incised with lovely Dragonfly friends and star elements, and are inlaid with red coral, turquoise and jet bits. Their facial features are incised and inlaid with jet paste. Don't miss this collectible fetish necklace, it's exceptional.
Using channel inlay and hollow form techniques Franklin Carrillo hand build these sculptural beauties. The inlaid lapis, coral, malachite, sugilite, spiny oyster shell, turquoise, and mother of pearl shell window panes create a contemporary design. The hollow form building technique gives them mass without adding weight. About 1" long, 1/4" wide and the bottom, and 1/4" deep each earring weighs .2 oz, the same as 2 quarters.
