A striking mosaic pendant by the award-winning and collectible Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo jeweler Mary C. Lovato. She has masterfully arranged specially-cut pieces of turquoise, red coral, abalone, jet and marble surrounded by sterling silver to create this one-of-a-kind work of art. The hand element can represent unity and creativity.
All the materials have been overlaid on a natural shell which is about 2 1/4" long and 2 1/4" wide, signed by the artist. The brown leather cord is not included. The hammered silver collar is available and sold separately, please inquire.
An inlaid Eagle and Hummingbird unite in this all hand-fabricated sterling silver, inlaid jet, pen shell, mother-of-pearl, red coral, shell, turquoise, malachite and abalone "spinner" cuff bracelet. What's so cool about this cuff bracelet, is that the center feathered friend station rotates to view either side. So it's like getting two cuff bracelets in one. This cuff bracelet's entire inner circumference is about 6 1/4" while the opening is approximately 1 1/2". The center "spinner" bird station is about 3/4" in diameter. Mary C. Lovato is an award-winning Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo jeweler, extremely popular for her enticing mosaic shell work, this time expressed in an exciting pair of earrings! We see growing corn stalks in sterling silver, precious pieces of natural red coral, turquoise, jet, gold lip shell and abalone, all carefully arranged and set atop a bed of shell. Historically, Pueblo people were farmers and corn was their main staple. Corn is respected and valued. Including earring fixture, these highly collectible earrings are about 2 1/8" long and 1 3/8" at widest part, convex. Signed by the artist.
Jovanna Poblano's exquisite Butterfly bracelet is all handmade. Its wings showcase gorgeous turquoise and faceted lapis stones. This winged-wonder has a turquoise face with silver beads for antennae. Jovanna backed this comfortable cuff with soft brown suede. The bracelet's entire inner circumference is about 6 3/8" including the opening of 1", it is about 1" wide. The butterfly is about 1 5/8" from antennae to wing end, and has a wingspan of about 1 3/4". Signed-by-the-artist, this show stopping cuff is bordered top and bottom with amazing abalone beads.
