Llamas or alpacas belong to the camel family. They are fascinating and peaceful animals that have been domesticated for centuries by Indigenous Peoples of South America. In fact, the llama is the national symbol of Peru. Llamas are used as therapy animals because of their reassuring presence like we see in Armond Sandoval's travertine fetish. Eyes and hooves are from jet. About 2" long, 5/8" wide and 1 3/4" tall.
