Floating with the ocean's current, Danette Laate's gorgeous young fluorite sea Turtle's incised carapace has watery blue turquoise inlays. Endearing eyes from turquoise are set to a nicely turned head. Powerful flippers are specialized for aquatic movement. These important and endangered ocean reptiles spend a lot of time near the surface of the water as they're air breathers. When they nest ashore, hatched eggshell and nesting remnants nourish beaches making them strong. About 1 7/8" long, 1 1/2" wide and 5/8" tall.
