Roadrunners mate for life engaging in interesting courtship behavior. The male will tempt the female with a food offering like a reptile dangling from its beak. It will dance in front of her, bowing and fanning his tail, raising and dropping wings. He'll make cooing sounds too. If she accepts, they'll stay together for a lifetime.
