Rebecca Davis
Zuni artist Rebecca Davis has carved a wonderful standing Bear from Picasso marble who has found the best waiting spot to snag a juicy turquoise fish from the churning river. This approximately 2 1/2" tall, 1 1/2" wide and roughly 1 1/4" deep precision hunter has hungry eyes from gorgeous crushed turquoise inlays. Smart bears study the water knowing the best time to strike.
Waldo Davis
Waldo Davis' hungry Bear carved from tidgilite snatches an iridescent gold lip shell fish right from the rushing river. Fishing activity increases a lot during salmon and trout spawning runs when fish are concentrated and easier to catch. The upright bear's eyes are from pen shell inlays, so are the water creature's. Together they measure approximately 2 3/4" tall, 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" deep.
