What do you see? Perhaps a perched Eagle or a Hawk? This bird's true identity is in the eye of the beholder. Carved by Jonas Hustito from marble and inlaid with turquoise eyes that unveil the spirit of this engaging feathered friend, dimensions are about 3" long, 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Raptors have extraordinary vision. Their animal medicine teaches us to quiet our minds and focus on the present allowing for a clearer perspective.
Benina Kallestewa
Benina Kallestewa's perching Owl is carved from a rich quartz-veined vermillion marble. The ancient Romans loved red marbles importing the natural material from the Peloponnes to use in their grand architecture. Eyes are ever-watchful from cultured opal inlays, while a tiny offering necklace is created from heishe, turquoise and red coral beads. About 2 5/8" tall, 1" wide and 1 1/4" deep.
