A gentle white marble Bear cub takes a cautious step out into the world, taking in all that nature has to offer through eyes of inlaid turquoise. This in-motion bear by Herbert Halate measures about 2 1/4" long, 1 1/8" wide and 1" tall. He delicately incised it all over for fur detail. A handsome offering bundle holds a truly lovely turquoise stone giving thanks for the bear's wisdom. All bears have important animal medicine in Zuni traditional ways but white bears have an extra element of healing.
