Bear with inquisitive eyes from inlaid turquoise has been carved from Silverado jet by Danette Laate. In nature, bears can walk short distances on their hind legs so an upright bear is considered to be displaying healing traits by the Zunis. Bears are amazing mammals that are powerful, good mothers and rest in torpor to recover. About 2 1/4" tall, 1" wide and 5/8" deep.
