Red Onyx Rhinoceros

Endangered in the wild, rhinoceros are intimidating and powerful creatures. If they perceive a threat, they'll defend themselves by charging. Mother rhinoceros are warrior-like especially protective of their calves. Carved from rich red onyx, Bryston Bowannie's turquoise-eyed perissodactyl mammal measures about 2 5/8" long, 1" wide and 1 3/4" tall. An offering bundle has shell and turquoise beads which look gorgeous against the brick red hues of the onyx.
