Cameron Kalestewa's large bushytail (
Fox,
Wolf or
Coyote) has been elegantly sculpted from sparkling sugar stone marble. Inlaid turquoise, shell, orange spiny oyster shell and other colorful materials create a rainbow heartline, or breath path, representing the spirit of the animal within the stone. A voluminous tail creates the balance necessary to the athletic antics of this energetic canine. The eyes are inlaid jet and a beautiful offering of a marble point and amethyst beads is tied to the back thanking the animal for the lessons, or medicine, it brings. A generous carving at about 8 1/4" long, 2" wide, and 1 1/2" tall.
