Ancient Indigenous Peoples expressed worldview and sacred imagery in the form of petroglyphs which are symbols and designs etched on rock faces, bluffs and cliff sides, among other inspirational places. Encouraged by those expressions from long ago, Daryl Shack Sr.'s earthy and textural sandstone Bear has been incised with perhaps radiant energy or abstracted lightning bolts. Turquoise eyes are inlaid and a colorful turquoise, red coral and shell offering bundle is attached to this approximately 2 3/4" long, 7/8" wide and 2 1/4" tall friend.
